06.Jul.10 - Jen Mesch Dance Conspiracy has been invited by the Fast and Dirty Collective to perform in The Works Festival in Sir Winston Churchill Square. Mesch and dancer Kevin Jesuino will perform 5:30 pm. Also performing: Todd Janes July 4 12:00-4:00pm, Good Women Dance Society: July 5 2:30 pm, Julianna Barabas: July 5:30-8:30 pm.

29.Apr.10 - International Dance Day - Mesch to present a new excerpt of "Cavern" (work-in-progress) at an informal showing presented by Good Women Dance Collective called "What's Cooking?" 20.Mar.10 Mile Zero Dance Salon Series. Mesch and composer Scott Smallwood team up to perform their new piece, "Cro-H+", a lecture-demonstration of their ultra high tech improvisation collaboration as proto-transhumans. Phoneme Choir - Language as a Somatic Practice - under the direction of choreographer Daria Faïn and poet Robert Kocik, Mesch and others sound out and move as dictated by the physicality of phonemes. "Cavern" - an excerpt to be shown as a work-in-progress in Open Performance at Movement Research. New choreography in response to newly re-mastered textural music by Frank Lewin that he wrote and recorded in 1969 for IBM. Kristen Boccumini, Clara Ebersole Coleman, Elizabeth Gillespie, Vivan He, Jackie Lukas and Colleen Murphy will be dancing. Discussion and audience feedback to follow moderated by choreographer Arturo Vidich. Mesch presents "Grove" in response to Tova Beck-Friedman's sculpture, "Excerpts Of A Lost Forest - An Homage to Ashera". Dancing at The Approach - TroyNewYork - Mesch and others to perform under the direction of choreographer Jack Magai and writer Amy Halloran. Witness as history unfolds and wedding vows are exchanged between the city of Troy and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Presentations begin at Noon, Dance begins at 1:45. Call performers on your cell phone during the performance and tell them what to do.

Movement Research Festival

11.27.05 through 11.28.05:
24-Hour Migration Choreographer Jennifer Monson's large-scale work involving the entire island of Manhattan. Mesch joins Monson, Jack Magai, Corey Carver and other movement performers and musicians in following the waterways of 1860's Manhattan. The piece lasts from dawn until dawn.

12.09.05:
Movement Research Festival: Scott Smallwood and Jennifer Mesch participate in Dance/Music Laboratory - a residency for dance/music duos who work in improvisation as a primary medium. 12.06 through 12.09. Curated by Michelle Nagai, other duos include KJ Holmes with Roy Campbell, Estelle Woodward with Jeff Arnal and Sheron Wray with Jonathan Hart Makwaia. A concert will finish off the residency.
